CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

Christmas is a time when people are prepared to smile and to wish others the best of things for a day or two. We as Christians know that Christmas lasts beyond Boxing day and so we are called to radiate this Peace that the Lord has won for us in the Crib and on the Cross everyday. Jesus offers the world a Peace the world cannot give to itself, and so we need Christmas to remind us, at least once a year, that we need the help of God everyday of our lives to live in Peace. I pray that this Christmas we may all unpack our presents with great joy and with thankfulness towards those who bought them, and that the same time we may unpack the gift of Jesus in our hearts and be thankful to Him for His Eternal gift of Himself and of Peace at all times.

God Bless and Merry Christmas to you all Fr Shaun O'Neill
