A great social charitable family evening was enjoyed by all,.Races were sponsored by local firms and our own Lunch club and Youth club.The wooden horses were a challenge , but jockeys stayed the course, no non runners and winners were enthusiatically cheered , especially by those who had placed their winning bets 
With a raffle and generous donations, over £700 was raised. Two of our local Sacred Heart 6th formers, Tia and Rachel received the main share of the amount to help them get to Lourdes this summer to assist with the sick pilgrims.
Lourdes Hospitality fund, also benefited from the fundraiser.
We all looking forward to another fundraiser next year.
